Vincent Faudemer est un artiste originaire de Normandie en France, il est connu pour s'être approprié un des symboles de l'enfance, le personnage de Babar comme sujet principal. Le retravaillant en sculpture avec un traitement à base d'argenture tout comme l'artiste Jeff Koons.
Il rencontra dès la première année de son exposition, un engouement spectaculaire, de nombreuses célébrités françaises et américaines furent séduite par son travail.
Première exposition en septembre 2018 au Palace mondialement connu le Plaza Athénée, première vente aux enchères à Monaco le 26 septembre 2018 pour un gala de charité, fondation Prince Albert 2 de Monaco.
Son portait sur la chaîne de télévision M6 a été visionné par plus de 2.5 millions de téléspectateurs le dimanche 11 novembre 2018.
Vivant et travaillant entre la Normandie et Miami, Vincent Faudemer subvertit l'image du célèbre éléphant pour lancer une réflexion sur la société de consommation et le capitalisme à outrance. Il habille son personnage Babolex de marque et d'objet de luxe premium comme pour refléter une habitude de consommation de la société mondiale aisée, le choix de l'éléphant par l'artiste est lourd de sens, pilier de l'Afrique, sagesse et savoir dans les croyances, divinités pour de nombreuses civilisations, Babolex incarne parfaitement l'opposition entre la pureté et l'enfance, contre le passage à la vie d'adulte et le changement des valeurs.
Il cite régulièrement Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami ainsi que Jean Michel Basquiat comme source d'inspiration

Living and working between Normandy and Miami, Vincent Faudemer subverts the image of the famous elephant to launch a reflection on consumer society and excessive capitalism. He dresses his Babolex character with a brand and a premium luxury item as if to reflect a consumption habit of affluent world society, the artist's choice of the elephant is heavy with meaning, pillar of Africa, wisdom and Knowing in beliefs, divinities for many civilizations, Babolex perfectly embodies the opposition between purity and childhood, against the transition to adulthood and the change of values.
He regularly cites Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Jean Michel Basquiat as a source of inspiration.
