Erik Salin, peintre, sculpteur plasticien, né en 1960 à Paris, vit et travaille aujourd'hui dans le sud de la France où se trouve son atelier.
Custom Painter de renom longtemps considéré par la presse spécialisée comme l'une des grandes références françaises en la matière. Durant toutes ces années, Erik Salin utilise toutes les techniques traditionnelles des grandes écoles références (peinture, dessin, acrylique, aquarelles, lavis, trompe l'oeil...) qu'il mélange les unes aux autres, les superpose pour explorer de nouvelles orientations qu'il applique sur ses sculptures et crée une expression artistique qui lui est propre.
Influencé par le mouvement Pop Art, son approche artistique figurative reflète les codes et les travers de notre société de consommation. During all these years, Erik Salin uses all the traditional techniques of the great reference schools (painting, drawing, acrylic, watercolors, washes, trompe l'oeil...) that he mixes with each other, superimposes them to explore new orientations that he applies to his sculptures and creates an artistic expression of his own.
